This course is designed to enable ESL students to gain confidence and pronunciation accuracy in speaking. This is the first in a series of three Reading and Writing courses to help non-native English students develop academic reading and writing skills. Emphasis is on vocabulary development, and locating main ideas and supporting sentences for reading comprehension, as well as, developing basic sentence and paragraph skills for academic purposes.
