Gas Metal Arc Welding Certificate of Completion

This program provides the necessary industry-standard recognition according to the American Welding Society (AWS) QC10 specifications in Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) in partial requirements of Level One, Entry Level Welder. Industry certification provides the student an opportunity to demonstrate to potential employers evidence of competency of entry-level positions in the welding industry.

 

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:
  1. Students will demonstrate proficiency in GMAW Welding in all four positions at the level required for the AWS Entry Level Welder test.
  2. Students will demonstrate skills that will enable them to understand GMAW weld symbols, different welding processes, different alloy compositions and their applications, blueprint reading, and understanding of quality welds.
