TRiO-ETS

The TRiO Educational Talent Search Program (ETS) is a federally funded post-secondary outreach program designed to motivate middle school and high school students to excel in school while encouraging their pursuit at a post-secondary education. 

The TRiO ETS program provides academic, career, and college guidance to 500 low income and first generation students at three target schools in Desert Hot Springs (Desert Springs Middle  School, Painted Hills Middle School, and Desert Hot Springs High School). In addition, ETS staff provides bilingual services to families that include workshops about college selection, the admissions process, financial aid, and referrals to academic services.
