The faculty and staff at the Indio Campus are also pleased to provide students with access to robust and wrap-around student support services. For example, students may see a counselor for assistance in several areas, including career exploration, transfer support, and personal counseling. Counselors from special programs in the areas of Adult Basic Education and GED Test Preparation guidance, Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), CARE (Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education), CalWorks, and Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS) are also available to support students. On-site bilingual in Spanish staff are also available to help guide students through the application and registration process (for credit and non-credit programs), as well as issue student ID cards, take fee payments, and offer in-person financial aid assistance.

At College of the Desert, we understand students have more happening in their lives than just school. Mental health services, student life activities including ASCOD meetings, FIND Foodbank distributions, a food pantry, workshops, and more, a campus bookstore with all of your supply needs, and many other referral resources and services are available to help connect students with vital support systems. Last, but certainly not least, to help students meet their educational goals, we offer day, evening, and weekend in-person and 24/7 online tutoring, and access to library and learning resources.
