DRA 010  CAD Drafting/Design Project   Units: 2

This course provides training in applying the principle techniques of Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) and design to selected projects. Students with majors or interest in architecture, drafting, interior design, landscape design or engineering, with the approval of their professor, will select projects to be produced using AutoCAD software.

This course covers the basic principles of 3-dimensional CAD modeling from a conceptual stage to a transitional architectural design and documentation platform built on Building Information Modeling (BIM) using SketchUp and Revit software respectively.
