Students apply analytical thinking to interpret graphic representations of normal and abnormal electrical activity of the heart. The emphasis of this course is on the interpretation of heart rhythms, lead placement, obtaining a 12 lead electrocardiogram and interpretation of cardiac rhythms that require immediate intervention.
