Residential Solar Certificate of Achievement
The Residential Solar Certificate of Achievement is developed to prepare the students for careers in the field of renewable energy, focusing on solar energy technology. Graduates will be prepared for careers in design, installation, and repairing solar energy systems. Graduates will also be prepared to work with architects and engineers who consult, design, and guide solar installations, solar thermal, and battery storage projects.
Learning Outcomes
Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:
- Apply critical thinking skills to execute daily duties in industry workplaces related to residential solar.
- Fulfill the requirements for an entry-level position in renewable and sustainable energy industries related to residential solar.
- Display the skills and aptitude necessary to pass California acceptance exams in the residential solar field.
- Exhibit effective written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact within the workplaces related to the residential solar field.
