Black Student Success Center
Black Student Success Center (BSSC) is designed for students that identify as Black and/or African American, however is open and welcoming to all students. To be eligible for BSSC, students are encouraged to maintain a 2.5 GPA, attend two meetings a semester and see a counselor once a semester. The primary focus of the program is to assist with the academic, social and cultural progress of COD’s Black population. In addition, the program is committed to academic success, leadership development, community service and mentoring for our Black students.
