Foster Youth Services (FYS)
Foster Youth Services (FYS) is designed for current or former foster youth. To be eligible for FYS, a student must be a current or former foster care youth and provide official documentation from the Department of Public Social Services (DPSS). FYS promotes student success with priority one registration, enrollment assistance, educational planning, transfer application assistance, and assistance with completing the Chafee Grant application process as well as the Burton Book Fund Application. Our large, spacious Center offers 4 computer workstations for student use, a printer, a conference table for club meetings and workshops, and a comfortable lounge area for quiet study. FYS also provides community resources and referrals.
