Family Child Care Certificate of Achievement

The Family Child Care Certificate of Achievement has been designed to provide Licensed Family Child Care Providers, students, and potential providers with a comprehensive overview of principles and theories of child development in the areas of physical, psychosocial, and cognitive/language milestones. Special emphasis will be provided in the areas of health, safety, nutrition, child guidance practices, and the application of Community Care Licensing Title 22 regulations, and Family Child Care Rating Scale (FCCRS) in an early learning setting. 

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:

  1. Apply for a license to operate a family child care home business.
  2. Work as an assistant in a licensed child care facility.
