Agriculture Irrigation Technician Certificate of Achievement

This certificate introduces students to the design, installation and management of landscape and agricultural irrigation systems. Students completing this certificate will acquire familiarity with plant science and nutrition, irrigation equipment, and the techniques and design of irrigation systems. Upon successful completion of this certificate, students will be prepared for employment as irrigation consultants and landscape architects.

Learning Outcomes

Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate managerial and leadership abilities in ag irrigation classes for employment that will enhance opportunities and success in the agriculture field.
  2. Master academic proficiency and demonstrate specific skills within agriculture and landscape irrigation disciplines needed for employment within the industry.
  3. Master skills needed to obtain a certificate.
  4. Be qualified for jobs as irrigation consultants and landscape architects.
