Digital Design & Production AS Degree
The College offers an Associate of Science Degree in Digital Design & Production (DDP), as well as courses leading to transfer. Course work in DDP lays the foundation for student-success as the first step toward successful entry into the labor market. Geared toward students interested in digital media, UX design, creative content, graphic design, interaction design, web design, motion graphics, photography and video production. Skills covered are production processes, design thinking, project management and collaborative teamwork. The program also places an emphasizes on creativity, design skills, digital portfolios, project management, problem solving, global teamwork, and entrepreneurship options.
This program provides students with a comprehensive hands-on education using industry-standard digital media tools. Focusing on the design and implementation of digital media for the entertainment industry, this program covers a range of real-world audio and video production and post- production techniques, as well as traditional principles of storytelling and visual communication.
Learning Outcomes
Upon satisfactory completion of this program students will be able to:
- Produce creative, professional projects that align with current market trends and industry standards.
